Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay Nerul over other schools for Preksha’s admission?

We are familiar with with the school since we have been staying at Nerul for a long time. The kind of academic record and extra-curricular prowess Apeejay Nerul has among all other CBSE schools is impressive and commendable. We received great feedback about the schools from other parents as well. Since we found that Apeejay Nerul is the most suitable for her academic and personality development. we went ahead with Apeejay Nerul.

Please tell us a bit about Preksha and take us through her progress at school?

Preksha is a lovely child. Her favourite subjects at school are English and Science. She is keenly interested in dance. She has won many inter-school dance competitions as well. She is performing very well in the school at present.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

Yes, absolutely. There is no issue. Preksha is particularly fond of her class teacher Sabeena Ma’am. To think of it, she never criticises any teacher. All the teachers are her favourite.

What is the best thing about Apeejay School, Nerul?

The kind of education they provide and the way they take care of the child is special. They are well focused on academics as well. The way a teacher interacts with the child is very warm. A child never feels scared of going to school. My daughter always wants to go to school. The school was initially reopened post Diwali last year. She was one of the few students who was attending the offline classes and after coming back home, she was attending the online classes as well. Her teachers praised her a lot for that. The interaction between the teachers and the students is superb at Apeejay School, Nerul. I feel our children are in safe hands. Child safety is a top priority for the school. My daughter is travelling in the school bus, the kind of arrangements the teachers are making is commendable.

How was the experience of the online classes for Preksha?

It was simply superb. There was never a problem with regard to anything. She understood everything smoothly. She confidently and comfortably asked questions in case she had a doubt. I was working from home during that period, so I have seen that the teachers were putting in their best efforts.

Now that the schools have reopened, Preksha must be looking forward to going back to the school?

Yes. She is very excited to be back at school. She is very happy.
