Tell us a little about yourself.

I work with an advertising company in a vibrant environment that resonates with creativity and innovation. It’s more than a workplace; it’s a canvas where ideas come to life.

Is this your first job, and how long have you been working here?

Yes, it’s my inaugural journey into the professional realm, and the last five months have been a whirlwind of learning and contributing to meaningful projects, particularly in the realm of documentary production. Every day feels like a new chapter in my career story.

Did you get this job through the placement cell?

No, I decided to take the reins of my career path and independently applied for this opportunity, driven by my passion for advertising and the unique vision of Yellow Straw. I found the job on LinkedIn. The platform not only connects professionals but also opens doors to exciting possibilities. It was on LinkedIn that I stumbled upon this fantastic opportunity.

Did you always want to work in the advertising world?

Without a doubt, my heart has always been set on making a mark in the advertising world. The dynamic nature of this field has forever fascinated me. Events in advertising have a magnetic allure for me. The intersection of creativity and strategic communication in the context of events is where my passion truly ignites.

How did you end up working in the advertising world?

The dream to contribute to international advertising fueled my journey into this realm. It’s a field that constantly pushes boundaries, and I wanted to be part of that narrative.

What challenges do you face in your job in advertising?

Initial challenges come in the form of navigating communication in English, a language that adds a layer of nuance, and mastering the art of client interactions. These hurdles, though demanding, are shaping me into a more resilient professional and are integral to the learning curve of my role.

How was your experience at AIMC? Any memorable moments or struggles?

My experience was a tapestry of learning, peppered with both highs and lows. The struggles were stepping stones, and the memorable moments often emerged from collaborative efforts with dedicated teachers. It was a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything. I got to learn a lot from the faculty here. The institute struck a commendable balance between theoretical and practical learning. This equilibrium enhanced not only my knowledge but also my ability to apply it in real-world scenarios.

Did the skills you learnt in your courses help you in your current job?

The skills garnered during my courses have seamlessly integrated into my daily tasks, proving to be the bedrock of my success in the present role. I am from a Hindi medium school; at home also we speak Hindi. But the communication skills that I learnt at AIMC (how to speak in English) have greatly helped me do my job well today.

How did you come to know about the AMC course, and would you recommend this college to others?

My cousins, who are proud alumni, acted as ambassadors for AIMC, sharing their positive experiences. They told me that I would get to learn a lot here. I wholeheartedly recommend this college to aspiring individuals who seek a holistic education and an environment that nurtures personal and professional growth. There have been a few students who are studying here on my recommendation.
