Arthur was a very impolite boy. No one liked to play with him. He shouted at others without any reason and showed no respect to anyone.
One day, Arthur was feeling very unhappy. He told his mother, “Mom, I have no friends. No one plays with me.” Arthur’s mother knew the reason. She smiled and said, “Start being polite and see the magic, Arthur.”

That afternoon, when the boys saw Arthur coming, they said, “Oh, look, Arthur is coming this way. Let us run from here; otherwise, he will abuse us.” But Arthur ran up to them and stopped them. He asked politely, “How are you, my friends?” Then Arthur shook hands with them. Everyone was pleasantly surprised. They invited Arthur to join them in the game.
After playing, Arthur went back to his home. He hugged his mother and said, “Mom, I spoke politely with the boys today. They accepted my friendship. I will not have to play alone anymore. The magic worked!” His mother hugged him.
In the evening, Arthur went to the park. The boys from his neighbourhood were playing cricket. From that day, Arthur had many friends and never played alone.
Moral: Be polite and you will make great friends.
