‘Synergy 2022’ annual festival held with pomp and pageantry at Apeejay Dwarka campus
The two-day event, hosted by the Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), saw the participation of more than 250 students from various colleges
Synergy isn’t just a festival but it’s a mega fest with fun-filled activities and creativity at its best. Precisely so! The two-day annual event, organised by the Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) at the Dwarka Campus showcased art, creativity and competitive spirit at one place.
The fest began with the inaugural address by Dr. Alka Munjal, Director of ASM and Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC. The first day saw an enthusiastic participation from the students and their energy was visible in the various activities they participated in. More than 250 participants from different institutions including Delhi University, Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and others registered themselves for competitive events such as Ad Mad, Bulls and Bears, Hand Painting, Pot-making, Singing, Dancing, and so on.
Summarising the two-day fest, Leena Raheja, a first-year student with ASM said, “Synergy 2k22 brought a spirit of celebration and competitiveness in our souls. It was a perfect blend of fun with knowledge. The two-day event was packed with enthusiasm – all of us participating in management games and cultural events. We will cherish these moments as we created so many memories.”
Another first-year student, Shriti Goyal, said, “Unlimited music, dance, food and fun – Synergy 2k22 was a wonderful experience. From flash mob to alumni meet, all the events were well-synchronized and coordinated. The theme of the institute was observed and all the events and competitions interactive and well-judged. I thoroughly enjoyed the events and I am so looking forward to more such events in the coming months.”
In the Pot Decoration competition, Himanshi Rawat from ASM secured the first place while Tanya Jain from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University secured the second position. Students of AIMC, Sushmita Roy and Amitabh Mukherjee, aced the Solo Dance competition securing first and second position respectively. The Street Play competition was won by students of Sri Aurobindo College and Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies. Several more competitions were organised inside the campus.
The second day of the annual fest witnessed a fashion show by the students followed by faculty members from ASM and AIMC. Aditya Anand Jha from ASM and Diksha Rathore from AIMC were honoured as Mr and Ms Synergy 2022. For the Mr and Ms Personality Category, Devansh Sethi from AIMC and Kajal Kumari from ASM were the winners.
Said Shivang, a second-year student, “Synergy offered us to be a part of a plethora of competitions and showcase our talents. The key attractions during these two days were the fashion show, Mr. and Ms. Synergy as well as the dance competitions among others like rangoli competition, etc.”
The two-day annual fest concluded on a high note with ‘ASM Rejuvenion 2022’, an alumni meet organised at the college campus.
