Summer Special: From clay art to coding, students of Apeejay School, Model Town acquire new talents

All things are bright and beautiful in summer. The sunshine, growing trees and the warm fragrance of evening flowers is extremely mesmerising. To add to that, is the time of summer vacations, a period of relaxation and fun, to hit the refresh button before the academic year begins.

Students of Apeejay School, Model Town in Jalandhar made memories and learnt new things this summer. At the camp organised in the school premises, students were involved in various outdoor and indoor activities such as coding, dancing, clay craft, and yoga, to name a few.

Sharing her experience, Atibha Bajaj, a class 2 student said, “It was a  great experience. We enjoyed it so much and our teachers made the camp memorable for us. I had so much fun doing clay-molding and learning to code. In the camp, the refreshments given by the school were delicious.” For Aadiv Arora, a class 3 student, activities such as English speaking, experiments in the Science laboratory, football were very exciting. He says, “I learnt so many things at the camp. All my teachers were very helpful. I had good fun with my friends as well.”

Mukul Kandhari, a class 3 student, enjoyed art and craft activities at the camp. “The camp helped me stay physically and mentally active. It was crucial for the development of my social skills.” Appreciating the efforts of the school, Harnaaz Beer Singh, class 3 student says, “The summer camp was very well conducted. The teachers took special initiatives to instill good qualities in us.”
