Sacred relationship of a mother and a daughter

“Mothers and their children are in a category all their own. There’s no bond so strong in the entire world. No love so instantaneous and forgiving.” — Gail

Tsukiyama.

The attachment of a mother and a child is formed from the beginning in the mother’s womb. The relationship between a mother and daughter is extraordinary such that it cannot be described in words. My mother is truly my best friend, however, sometimes our relation gets complicated but her love for me is boundless.

She has always supported me in difficult times and encouraged me. She is my cheerleader. She taught me how to gain self-respect, make friends, self-esteem, etiquette and many more. She spends time with me daily talking about my goals and how my day went.

We spend weekends together doing fun things. She has always encouraged me to love my imperfections and find positivity in everything.

My mother has always made me feel special and confident. If I desire some ‘alone time’ she always respects it and never denies it. She talks to me about worldly issues, character traits, faith and courage.

She gives me space to grow and blossom by giving ample support and love. She provides necessary guidance and always hears me out.

Also, she honours my boundaries and  keeps realistic expectations from me.

She was, is and always be my priority. I look up to her. Our relationship has many ups and downs, but we always work upon it and settle it down. She loves me more than anything in this world and would even sacrifice everything for me. There is no limit for a mother’s love for her child, though it is invisible, but infinite.

A mother would always support her child no matter what. We all should show affection and respect towards our mother.

This Mother’s Day on 12 April 2024 make a promise to hug and tell your mother how much you love her and what you feel about her.
