It’s the determination and persistence that make an individual successful. This stands true for the student achievers from Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, who have qualified the ICAI Chartered Accountant (CA) Final and Foundation examinations 2021.

Delighted to have qualified CA final round in the first attempt, Shivansh Bhalla says, “My parents and I were extremely happy. I have been studying for CA since 2016. But for the final round I started preparing in 2018. I used to dedicate five to six hours every day studying the subjects and different topics.” Shivansh, an ACFA alumnus, is currently working as an External Auditor with Deloitte.

Tanika Bajaj, another alumna from ACFA, had started preparing for the CA exams soon after she completed my class 12. “I was preparing for the CA exams alongside my graduation. I also did three years of articleship and then I gave my final exam in 2019 when I cleared Group 1 in the first attempt itself. However,  due to the sudden onset of the pandemic, the next exam was canceled. And finally, in December 2021, I cleared Group 2 round as well.”

From the Foundation to the Final round of CA exams, the journey wasn’t easy for Tejaswani Nanda. The 25-year-old lost her father while she was pursuing her three years’ mandatory  articleship. But she remained undeterred. “I had to take care of my family and the business due to the untimely demise of my father. Faculty members from college were very supportive who allowed me to continue with my articleship along with my graduation.” In the future, Tejaswani aspires to work with largest banks in the world.

Congratulating the achievers, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA says:

“Our institute is continuously striving for excellence in academics and supporting its students to attain professional skills and industry savvy knowledge. Achievements of our students speak of our constant efforts in this regard. We are pleased to share that recently eight of our students have cleared CA final exam and nine of them have cleared CA foundation round. We have a legacy of adding to the galaxy of Chartered Accountants of the city. My heartiest congratulations to the shining stars of ACFA and I wish them more success in future.”
