Delhi government has asked state government-run schools to prepare their future strategies in order to bridge the learning gap that has increased due to the Covid-19 pandemic, while adding that the schools’ focus should be on setting-up ‘conceptual understanding’.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia recently conducted an interaction with the Delhi government school principals, which was attended by more than 800 heads from across the national capital. The minister directed them to set minimum benchmarks in their schools concerning infrastructure, cleanliness, and environment.

He remarked, “We need to think about our future strategies and start from the point where we left two years ago. There is no rush to complete the syllabus.”
