Please tell us about yourself.

My favourite subject is Biology, and so in +2 I have opted for Physics, Chemistry and Biology combination. Besides academics, my hobbies include canvas painting and baking.

What was your class 10 preparation strategy?

My study was all about revising and practicing the basics thoroughly. Due to re-scheduling of Board examinations this year, I felt that I had a lot of time at hand to do both. Also, I have always made a point to learn the concepts the same day it was taught in class. These practices have worked well for me.

And so, the number of hours I had to put in every day for my exam preparation was not more than 2.5 hours. My parents and teachers have instilled in me the habit of self-study. Since childhood, I have been an independent learner.

Also, teachers at Apeejay were very supportive during the exams. I never felt the need to seek any tuition. All the mock-tests and practice sheets provided by the school were very helpful.

Your upcoming plans?

I am preparing for the NEET examinations along with the regular school curriculum.

Do share study tips for fellow students.

It is not about the number of study hours but the productivity that one must achieve. My suggestion is to focus on concept clarity via NCERT books and listen to your teachers.

Who is your role model?

My father. He is a General Manager at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. I look up to his consistency and dedication. I have noticed that once he starts doing something, he does not stop till the goal is achieved. And, this inspires me a lot!

Your method of de-stressing?

I usually listen to music, sleep or go out for a walk. Also, I never put my mind into the books if I don’t feel like studying. Rather, I allow myself the time to re-align and focus.

Tell us about your career goal.

I wish to become a doctor. If given an opportunity, I would like to practice in the field of Gynaecology so that I can cater to two lives at the same time.

Your experience at Apeejay?

I have been part of the school since class 1. All my pursuits have been given a platform at Apeejay, be it art, science or academics. The teachers are kind and helpful. The school has been a community where learning never stops.
