Learning the tricks of effective brand building

The students of PG Diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communication were given an opportunity to choose a hypothetical product or service related to media, to learn the process of building a brand effectively and the ways to promote it.

This activity encouraged students to think out of the box. We were allotted a particular theme ‘Desi Vibe.’ The target audience for the event was the students and staff of AIMC. We persuaded people and created awareness of our respective brands, and learnt direct marketing during this whole process.

From this event, we learnt advertising and did promotion through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp via creating engaging posts, memes, reels and reaching our audience through personalised messages.

In event marketing, we started from creating a whole event layout to executing the whole plan through innovative stalls, which gave the consumers a great experience and helped us in gaining profit through marketing strategy.
