Job Shadowing – My first day experience with a wedding planning company

Starting a new internship can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. As an intern with WeddingLine, I was thrilled to start this new journey and learn more about the wedding industry. My first day was full of new experiences, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of my time with the company holds.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Ms. Arpita Gandhi, Co-Founder of WeddingLine, and I was introduced to various people from different departments.

As it was my first day, I was first inducted about the company’s credentials, and its mission and vision. Then I was also shown a few videos of the projects they have done in the past years.

The first task I was given by Ms. Arpita was to jot down all the things that come to my mind when thinking of planning a wedding. This can include hospitality, venues, catering, décor and so on. I listed down everything that came to my mind.

Further, I was shown the master list that they prepare for any project. It was massive and there were so many things I didn’t even know.

In conclusion, my experience as an intern with WeddingLine has been positive so far. The team has been welcoming and supportive, and I am excited about the upcoming journey with WeddingLine.
