Jalandhar institute hosts grand convocation; honours academic excellence of young learners 

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus in Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, resonated with scholarly fervour as it recently hosted its Convocation 2024. The grand celebration honoured the academic achievements of over 500 students. The ceremony, graced by esteemed dignitaries, marked a significant milestone in the journey of these graduates.

The event commenced with an air of solemnity as the academic procession, adorned in traditional black robes, heralded the beginning of the Convocation Ceremony. Honourable Vice Chancellor of IKG PTU, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, presided as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Dr. SK Mishra, Registrar IKG PTU, who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

Amidst the auspicious ambiance, the lighting of the ceremonial lamp invoked the blessings of knowledge and illumination, symbolising the commencement of the proceedings. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests and delivered an insightful address, highlighting the academic and co-curricular achievements of the graduating students.

Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the students to pursue their goals with dedication and commitment. Emphasising the pivotal role of the youth in nation-building, she urged the graduates to contribute towards the vision of a strong and vibrant India.

The ceremony also served as a platform to honour the exemplary academic performance of select students who brought laurels to the institute with their outstanding achievements. The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, in his Convocation Address, congratulated the graduates and commended their holistic development, emphasising that they are equipped not only with degrees but also with practical experiences and global perspectives.

Acknowledging the collective efforts of students and faculty, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal lauded their dedication and synergy, which propelled them towards success. As the ceremony drew to a close, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal declared the Convocation closed, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem and the conclusion of the academic procession.
