Babita Singh, an engineer at RailTech India, says she is highly satisfied with her daughter Shravya’s progress in Apeejay School, Saket. She is studying in class I at present. In an interview, the mother shares why she chose the school and how Apeejay teachers have been guiding not just students but also parents.

Edited excerpts:

What made you pick Apeejay for your child?

Shravya was first enrolled in Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, in nursery. We shifted her to Apeejay School, Saket, in class I. We were looking for a school that would foster our daughter’s overall development, which is essential nowadays.

We had a very good interaction with the principal of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, during the admission. She was also interested in our educational background, which impressed us. From the very beginning, Apeejay tries to build a positive relationship with parents and include them in the process of shaping a child’s future. This collaborative mindset inspires a lot of confidence in parents.

How does the school make sure that the teachers and parents work together as a team?

Shravya’s class teachers have been very supportive. They interact with parents from time to time to keep them updated about their children’s progress. I have had a very good experience till now and have no complaints.

How do the teachers work towards your child’s holistic development?

Apeejay lays strong emphasis on extracurricular activities apart from academics. These activities help children learn new skills, identify and hone their talents, and build personality. They not only gain confidence but also learn teamwork, time management, leadership, and more.
