‘ He is my best friend, superhero, teacher and biggest supporter’

Every year, I celebrate something very close to my heart – Father’s Day. It’s a day when I get to tell my Papa how much he means to me. But honestly, one day is never enough to say thank you for all that he does. Still, I love this day because I can do something special just for him, just like he always does for me.

My Papa is not just my father – he is my best friend, my superhero, my teacher, and my biggest
supporter. When I fall, he is the one who picks me up, dusts off my tears, and tells me I’m strong. When I am scared at night, he holds my hand and says, “I’m here.” And you know what? Just hearing those two words makes everything okay.

He works so hard every day, but he never forgets to smile when he sees me. Even when he’s tired, he listens to my stories, helps me with my homework, and plays with me. His laughter is the best music, and his hugs feel like the safest place in the world.

Sometimes, he doesn’t say much, but I can feel his love in everything he does. Like when he brings me my favorite chocolate after work, or when he quietly puts a blanket on me when I fall asleep on the sofa. He doesn’t need to say “I love you” a thousand times – I see it in his eyes every single day.

On Father’s Day, I want to do something special for him. Maybe make him a handmade card, or a drawing of us together. I want to tell him, “Papa, I love you more than all the stars in the sky. You are my sunshine, my strength, and my world.”

Dear Papa, thank you for being you. For believing in me, for making me laugh, for teaching me how to be kind and brave. You are the best gift God ever gave me.
