“Initially, I was living in Bengaluru and moved to Greater Noida. I was familiar with Apeejay Education, especially the Faridabad school. So I decided to explore this branch. The interaction with the then-principal left a good impression, leading us to enrol Riya right from the nursery. When it was time for my son to start his formal education, it was natural that we would choose this school only,” Priyanka shared.

What was your first impression of the school when you visited?

My initial impression of the school was very positive. The campuses are impressive, featuring both historical buildings and new constructions, which enhance the educational environment significantly. They have a new building that adds an aura to the overall school. The fact that the school has such a huge ground also means that my kids have ample ground to play on.

Given that it’s a Board year for your daughter, is there any pressure on her?

She has chosen the Humanities stream and is managing her studies at her own pace without undue pressure. She’s preparing independently and seems quite at ease with her workload. The teachers also ensure that there is no stress on the students.

How have extracurricular activities at the school benefited your children?

The extracurricular activities have been particularly beneficial. My daughter is quite involved in these activities, more so than my son. However, both have gained immensely, enhancing their public speaking skills, boosting their confidence, and improving their ability to present themselves effectively. These activities have provided significant support, especially for my daughter.

How does involving parents in school activities benefit you?

Parental involvement allows for meaningful interactions with other parents, faculty members, and the Principal. Attending various events provides insights into what our children are doing at school, which is incredibly beneficial for us as parents.

What values do you think your children have acquired since joining this school?

The school emphasises core values like honesty, integrity, and discipline. These aren’t just buzzwords here; they are actively imparted to students through the school’s curriculum and ethos, which stands out significantly compared to other institutions.

In terms of academics and holistic development, how has the school supported your children?

The teachers are punctual and disciplined, ensuring that the courses are completed on time. They provide personal guidance to students who need additional help, offering extra classes as necessary. Every student is treated equally, regardless of their academic level, ensuring personalized attention and fostering an inclusive educational environment.

In terms of career progression, the school has incorporated career counseling for the last three to four years. This has made our children well-informed about future career options, preparing them adequately for their next steps.

How do interactions with teachers during PTMs benefit you regarding your children’s progress?

Regular parent-teacher meetings allow us to understand where our children stand academically and socially within their classes. These interactions help us identify areas where they are excelling or might need further support, thus benefiting both us as parents and our children in their educational journey.
