Elon Musk: From risk-taking visionary to world’s richest man

When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favour. Elon Musk is a man after my own heart. A risk-taker undaunted by setbacks and ever-driven to ensure a bright future for humanity. Musk is the man behind PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, SolarCity, and Starlink. At the age of 12, he made a game and sold it for $500 to a company; this was a significant amount at that time. He completed his Bachelor’s degree and gained admission to Stanford University. After a few days, he quit Stanford University to start his own business. Then he created a website for a city guide with his brother, Kimbal. They only had one computer because they didn’t have the money to buy another. During the day, the website would run, and at night, it would be under maintenance.

In 2000, a company named Compaq bought Zip2. After some time, he created a website for online banking named X.com, also known as PayPal. In 2002, eBay bought PayPal for $1.5 billion. In 2003, he started a company called SpaceX with the aim of exploring space. He once said, “I don’t care about money, but somehow I will make a colony on Mars.” Then, with four people, he started a car company that would make electric cars, called Tesla. These cars even have an autopilot feature. He has also initiated a project – Starlink, which aims to provide free internet to the whole world. This service has already started in some parts of the UK. After this, the share price of Tesla increased. It was initially $200, then it reached $880. In 2020, Elon Musk was the 35th richest man in the world, and at the start of 2021, he became the richest man in the world.

Elon Musk is a source of inspiration, proving time and again that when you work hard, anything is possible! In conclusion, Elon Musk is a transformational leader and visionary who believes in dreaming big to achieve big!
