“Education is not found in books or four walls of school only, but can be gained better through experiential learning.”

Recently, our school organised an “educational excursion” to Agra for classes 3 to 5. During our trip, we visited Taj Mahal, which is one of the historical and beautiful places in India.

We reached school by 6 am as the bus was scheduled to depart at 6:30 am. Throughout our journey we sang and played many games in the AC bus coach. Later, we took a short break for breakfast at 11:00 am.

After the break, the fun continued. We reached the Taj Mahal at 12:30 pm and when we got off the bus we saw lots of tourists who came to see the Taj Mahal.

Our tour guide arranged golf carts to take us from the parking to the front gate of Taj Mahal. We saw beautiful tombs and pillars near the Taj Mahal.

The tomb was made up of white marble and precious stones. The tour guide described its history and how Shah Jahan made the beautiful Taj Mahal in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

After enjoying the tour, we had our lunch at ‘Pushpvilla revolving restaurant. We returned to our school at 8:30 pm. The day was informative and filled with fun as we experienced and learned lots of new things.
