Bright butter-yellow bananas, refreshingly fresh pineapples,
rose-red apples, leafy green ladyfingers, and cauliflowers, alongside some cabbages and broccoli as green as meadows. But it is all incomplete without the touch of spices. That is not all I see in cooking; I also see sun-like lemons, snowy-white eggs, and what not.
Cooking is a vibrant and colourful vast idea with exotic tastes. Man did not stop at what was naturally available for cooking. He did something more; he thought of making something more attractive and abstract. This was a great leap; man created spicy mixtures and soft drinks. When such spicy food items were available, the craving for something appetisingly sweet too came. The rocket of man’s mind took flight; he created something bewitchingly brilliant.
Can you guess what he made? Cakes and pastries. He also created fantastically fun-filled chocolates, candies, chewy gums, and jellies. I accidentally stumbled upon the innovative and important art called ‘Cooking’ during the COVID-19 lockdown. Cooking was progressing, is progressing, and will continue to progress, for it is a vast and abstract idea.
