Budding designers gain knowledge on fashion illustrations

A fashion design course helps budding designers in gaining a better understanding along with hands-on training. It also imparts creative knowledge, and professional skills on the latest trends and fashion to make a beautiful, stylish and comfortable cloth and accessories.

Aiming to impart the above, Apeejay Institute of Design (AID) organised a workshop to allow its students to explore the world of designer garments. The special session was held for the budding designers to unleash their creativity and talent as a part of the workshop curriculum.

This session helped students gain knowledge in market research, fashion illustrations, business studies, draping, pattern making and garment construction.  With this knowledge, students were able to convert their concepts into actual garments.

Meanwhile, they also gained an understanding of how different seasons play a significant role in the fashion industry. With changing weather, the fashion layout and consumption also changes.

AID organises different workshops for its students to enhance their creativity. Recently, the institute also organised a drawing workshop for budding interior designers. The session helped the students to engage in an ideation process and brainstorm innovative ideas for different products and space.
