Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: School students to send 75 lakh postcards

Published

on

As part of the ongoing ‘Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations to commemorate 75 Years of Independence, the students need to write a postcard to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on any of the two topics — ‘Unsung Heroes of Freedom Struggle’ or ‘My Vision for India in 2047’. Schools across boards in all states and union territories will have to arrange postcards for students. Local post offices near the schools will provide specially-stamped postcards for 50 paise each. Schools have been tasked to conduct this competition from December 1 to 20, shortlist 10 postcards with the best ideas and upload them on MyGov Portal. The winners of 75 best postcard entries will get a chance to interact with Prime Minister Modi in January next year.
