Prof. Anuj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Apeejay School of Management, Delhi, was invited as co-convener in the 7th International Conference organised Kodolányi János University, Hungary along with Tradepreneur Global Academic Platform, UK – one of the two units of Tradepreneur Global Research Organization, an international institution of research and development.

The theme for this three-day virtual conference was, ‘Embracing Transformation: Innovation Creation.’  More than 120 research papers were presented during the three days, and around 400 authors participated from 30 countries. These included participants from India, Nigeria, Greece, Nepal, Canada, Florida, Bangladesh, and England.  All the participants showcased their new research and innovations.

On the last day of the conference, Dr. Alka Munjal, Director, Apeejay School of Management, and Prof. Anuj Kumar were invited as session chairs for the track on General Management. Along with the Apeejay faculty, 13 other technical session chairs were invited from 20 countries.

The last session witnessed a total of eleven participants from India, China, and Turkey, who presented their papers.

During her keynote address, Dr. Munjal drew the attention of the attendees on the importance as well as relevance of the conference’s theme in today’s post-pandemic global world. She also emphasised why the concept of strategic thinking and creativity is imperative while conducting research. She asked, “What are the unique problems that a scholar or researcher of strategic management faces in their study of  public and private enterprises, especially in the post-pandemic world?  Do our accepted theoretical insights developed predominantly in western context looking primarily at a growth-oriented expansion-oriented work in this entirely uncharted area where we have reached due ot COVID? How and why will the work environment be different and what could be the threats we will face. How will research help us to be able to combat those environmental changes?”

Adding further, Prof. Kumar communicated the scope of improvement in the papers.

Sharing his experience, Dr. Millo Yaja from Pondicherry University, India said, “Thank you, conference organisers and Prof. Anuj, for giving us such a big platform to present our papers. It will be beneficial to improve our research work.

Dr. Bindu Roy from DAV Faridabad also extended her regards to the Apeejay faculty for their continuous support and guidance in improving her research work.

“The sights provided by Dr. Munjal will help me in taking my research to another level and further publishing it,” said Dr. Maninder Kaur, Director at Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Delhi.
