In a heartwarming gesture of empathy and service, the Interact Club of Apeejay School, Saket, in collaboration with a dedicated team from Max Hospital, organised a special outreach activity. As part of this initiative, students donated thoughtfully-prepared first aid kits, along with clothes and sweets, to those in need – demonstrating the power of youth-led service in action.
A global movement, a local impact
The initiative was undertaken in observance of Youth Service Month, an annual event recognised by Rotary International to honour and celebrate the energy, leadership, and commitment of young people in building stronger communities. This global movement aims to instill the values of compassion, leadership, and civic responsibility among students.
At the event, students were seen enthusiastically engaging with the beneficiaries, handing over first aid kits prepared by themselves under the guidance of school faculty and healthcare professionals. Their efforts were lauded by members of the Max Hospital team, who not only supported the event logistically but also mentored students about basic first aid practices during the preparation phase.
