Apeejay School, Saket hosts International Computer Fest: Impulse 2022

With great zeal and euphoria, students and teachers at Apeejay School, Saket organised Impulse 2022 – an International Inter-school computer fest on April 23. The session saw a houseful participation from 19 reputed schools in Delhi & NCR and international schools from Dubai.

The event was host to five innovative techno competitions including ‘Digi@Act’, ‘Artistic@Ores’, ‘Movie@Edit’, ‘Click@Shot’, and ‘Code@Python’. Students displayed their skills and talent in all these fields.

The inaugural ceremony commenced by invoking the blessings of the Almighty amidst soulful rendition of the Saraswati Vandana. This was followed by an alluring dance performance by the students showcasing harmony between Nature and humans.

The school Principal, Dr. Sujeet Eric Masih welcomed the Chief Guest Dr Sanjeev Singh, Professor, Institute of Informatics & Communication, University of Delhi, South Campus. A team of enthusiastic students presented a video on the concept of metaverse, a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection. The Chief Guest motivated the students to participate in the innovative events to delve deeper in their talent irrespective of winning and losing.

The fest culminated with a valedictory ceremony. It included a demonstration by Akshaj Soorma on music and its amalgamation with technology. The winners of the various events were announced and the overall trophy was bagged by students of Indraprastha International School, Dwarka.

Ms Mamta Ghai, event coordinator and Head of the Computer Department at Apeejay School, Saket proposed the vote of thanks.
