Apeejay bags ‘Leading Liberal Arts University Providing Excellence in Employability Programs’ award 

Apeejay Stya University receives this prestigious award for its valuable contribution for promoting Liberal Arts at the Dainik Jagran – inext Impact Awards 2022

Apeejay Stya University (ASU), India’s 1st Liberal Arts institute that offers rich opportunities for innovative teaching-learning, creativity and research across disciplines, has been awarded for ‘Providing Excellence in Employability Programs’ at the Dainik Jagran – inext Impact Awards 2022 in Lucknow. 

The award was presented by Shri Brajesh Pathak, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in presence of Shri Ashish Singh Patel, Hon’ble Minister of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The honour was received by Professor Dr Vimala Veeraraghavan, Dean Academics and Emeritus Professor at Apeejay Stya University.

On receiving the award Professor Dr Veeraraghavan shared, “Apeejay Stya University is recognised for its research and innovation centric teaching-learning approach. It’s a seat of global learning and the dream university of our Founder Chancellor, Dr. Stya Paul. The university helps each student to acquire professional skills through the many Liberal Arts courses and specific hands-on training modules, which give ASU students the edge to be selected in the multinational organisations.” 

She further added, “In fact, the university’s USP is to nurture students in a holistic way that prepares them for the global job market as well as make them capable of being self-employed or become entrepreneurs, thereby providing employment to many. ASU is grateful to Jagran for the award bestowed on it.”

The university has eight schools and three Centres namely, the Center for Liberal Arts,  Design Innovation Centre and Apeejay Incubation Centre approved by MSME. All these schools place their students for internship and hands-on training in the concerned industries.
