This story is about a boy named Raghu who used to study in class 7. One day, he saw his friend’s new cool pen and decided to steal it from him. He put it in his pocket. When his friend found out that his pen was missing, he informed the class teacher about it. His class teacher instructed everyone to look through their bags and desks, but nothing was found. The school bell rang, and everyone went home.
While washing Raghu’s clothes, his mom checked the pockets and found the pen. She asked him where he got it. He panicked and told his mom that he had borrowed it from his friend. His mom believed him and continued with her work. Raghu didn’t like this feeling at all.
The next day, he went to school feeling scared and sick inside. When he saw his friend looking gloomy in class, he reflected on what he had done. He then decided to give the pen back to his friend, even if that meant explaining himself to the class teacher, his classmates, and his mother. He pulled himself together and returned the pen to his friend, who was overjoyed.
Then he apologised to his friend, the teacher, and his classmates. The class teacher was very happy and said that it was very brave of him to return the pen and not keep it for himself. The sick feeling inside him disappeared.
