For some parents, choosing a particular school becomes easy. Take this mother, Sunishtha Singh, whose son, Sarvagya Singh Bhadana (studying in junior KG) at Apeejay Svran Global School, for instance. “As his cousin is in the same school, and even his uncle and father studied in Apeejay School, ours is the second generation studying here, we had to choose this school,” she said.
In an impromptu interview, she shared that as a parent, she is thankful that the school has done a fabulous job with her son.
What do you think about the school’s approach to education, and how do you see it benefiting your child?
The school is doing great work in education. My child is in kindergarten, and I have seen so many changes in his learning, writing, and other fields as well.
How do you stay updated about your child’s progress?

The school has organised its app, ParentApp, which keeps us updated about all work and activities. Teachers are very cooperative and always stay in touch with the parents regarding our child’s upbringing.
What are your expectations from the school in terms of academic and extracurricular development?
As of now, the school is doing well in both academics and extracurricular activities. My child is performing well in both. And since he is still in junior KG, it is too early to set any expectations for him.
How do you think the school’s environment and culture have impacted your child?
My child was very shy before joining the school, but now he has gained so much confidence in communicating with others. Teachers teach so well without creating any pressure to learn. I can say students enjoy studying every day. My child is learning new words, innovative activities, and, most importantly, respecting others.
Which school activity or project has sparked the most excitement for your child?
Sarvagya loves to paint and draw. The best thing is that his teachers allow him freedom during such activities. They don’t put any pressure for perfection, so he can enjoy and enhance his creative ideas in painting.
What changes have you noticed in your child’s confidence since joining the school?
I can say my child has changed a lot — in speaking, writing, and overall awareness. Now he knows about festivals and their importance. He has learnt so many new words, which I love to hear from him, and even our relatives have noticed his progress. Though he is still in kindergarten, he can read, which surprised me, and he can do most of his work independently.
