It seems the walls are rising again.

It seems just a repetition of the time back then.

I am still singing that same song

Regretting all the mistakes, all the times I was wrong.

I can’t even say that this is new and strange

I guess some things never really change

Those voices, I still hear them, in my head

Those thoughts and fears, they still haunt me, when I go to bed

I feel so lost, even when I am found

I am free like a bird, yet why do I feel so bound?

I can’t even say that this is new and strange

I guess some things never really change

They say, ‘Don’t hold yourself back’.

I am sure, yet unsure, what if i’m not on the right track

No, I don’t want my strength to be broken apart

I just want to trust and listen to my heart.

I can’t even say that this is new and strange

I guess some things never really change

I am still singing that same song.

But somehow, now I feel more strong.

No more regrets, because the mistakes led me to today
And led me to find the way.
