GOAT is an acronym which stands for ‘greatest of all time’. It is a term which is used for the individuals who is deemed to be the undisputed master of their sport. Here in this article, I have mentioned Cristiano Ronaldo as the GOAT.

1. Leadership Skills

Being a captain on the field sometimes isn’t enough. You need to be a leader, on and off the field. Cristiano Ronaldo is a perfect example of what a leader is like. We saw his leadership during the Euro 2016 final when he had to leave the field due to a thigh injury. He continued to lead and guide his team from the side-lines and led them to the first-ever Portuguese glory.

2. Dedication

Every player is passionate about the game but few among them are dedicated to it. Cristiano is one of the best among them. The 2014 FIFA World Cup is an example of his dedication when he played the world cup with his knee injury.

3. Fitness

No footballer comes close to Cristiano when we talk about fitness level. He is 37-year-old but with a fitness level of a
20-year-old person. We can refer to Cristiano as one of the fittest people on the planet.

4. Winning Mentality

Wars are fought on the field but they are won in mind. Cristiano has a mentality to win everything possible. This mentality helps him to be at the highest level and win great trophies.

5. Staying calm under pressure

Holding your nerve at high-intensity moments is a task that asks quite a lot from a person. Cristiano is a master of it. He has proved himself under such conditions. 2018 FIFA World Cup free kick against Spain is one of them.
