Young Talent: ‘School is my happy space for solace’

This young achiever from Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park calls her school as a priceless experience

This young mastermind swears by virtues like perseverance and dedication. Meet Chitranshi Bajaj who runs her life on the motto – good things come to those who practice patience. This young girl has recently been promoted to class IV in Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park.

“My favourite subjects are Science, EVS, Math and English. Amongst these, EVS fascinates me the most because it consists of so many facts and trivia. I am fond of such sort of study material,” expresses the 9-year-old.

So who are your favourite teachers at the school? “Akika Ma’am and Swati Ma’am are two of my most favourite teachers at school. I look forward to their periods and wait eagerly for them to come and teach the class,” she exclaims excitedly.

“I love everything about school. The big playground, the swimming pool and the whole happy spirited vibe around makes me feel alive and cheerful. It seems that my school is my happy escape,” shared the class IV student.

“I am also extremely fond of so many extracurricular activities at school. I love to participate in sports guru, short tennis, swimming, basketball, dance, music and singing. Looks like I want to wear a hat with many feathers,” exclaimed the young one.

What about your favourite character from a book? “I am captivated by the fairy tale named – Rapunzel. The long hair of the protagonist really mesmerises me and I am attracted to her magical aura,” Chitranshi shared.

Moving on, Chitranshi says she aspires to become an IAS officer and serve her country. “I want to make my friends, parents, and school proud of me and I dream of coming back to this school many years later as a proud professional.”

In conclusion, this genius also reveals that her favourite food is pasta especially made at home. “At home, my mother teaches me all the subjects and each time I score well and learn the subject well, she treats me to my favourite pasta.”
