Young Talent: ‘I get to learn new words by reading my favourite books’

This wonder child is on cloud 9 and can’t stop gushing about how well she performed in her class III. Meet Anshika Mishra, who is now promoted to class IV in Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. “I knew I would do well because I really worked hard and sincerely. And my mother helped me study everything and taught me so well with so much patience and love. This kind of effort motivated me to push myself more and study well,” said the eight-year-old.

What is the best part about school? “I love to play with my friends at school and participate in fun activities that are organised there. I also enjoy when different teachers come and teach different subjects, I feel so excited learning new things about new subjects,” said the class IV student.

“My most favourite teachers are Ekta ma’am and Garima ma’am. I love how they teach so many things. I feel so happy whenever I attend their classes,” Anshika said.

She also revealed the most amazing part of her life. “I love to read books written by Sudha Murty. She is my most favourite author. She mostly writes stories for little children blending them with valuable life messages. These message centric lessons and enhancing vocabulary are two of my most favourite parts,” the young one exclaims.

“My daily routine looks like waking up at 6 am and getting ready for school. I am back by 2:30 pm and have my lunch. After that I sleep for some time. From 5-7 pm I go out to play with my friends. I eat my dinner, study and do my homework and sleep by 10 pm,” Anshika concluded.
