Teachers at Apeejay School, Model Town, trained on creative teaching techniques to make learning joyful
In a step towards transforming classroom teaching into an enriching and joyful experience, Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar, organised a compelling workshop on Art Integration in the School Curriculum. The session, held recently, focused on enabling educators to explore the power of the arts in enhancing learning outcomes and creating holistic classroom environments.
The school Principal, Dr Rajesh Kumar Chandel, warmly welcomed the resource persons for the session Ms Rajwinder Pal, Principal, MGN Urban Estate, Jalandhar, and Ms Sangeeta Bhatia, Headmistress, MGN School, Jalandhar. Both educationists brought with them a wealth of experience and ideas, which they enthusiastically shared with the participating teachers.
Exploring art as a teaching tool
The workshop introduced teachers to the concept of art not merely as a subject but as a powerful teaching tool. It highlighted how music, dance, drama, and visual arts can be seamlessly blended into everyday lessons to make learning more engaging.
