Woman entrepreneur shares inspirational journey with students; talks about need for risk-taking 

Apeejay School of Management (ASM) organised a seminar on entrepreneurship and international business at their campus recently. It was organised by the General Management department and helmed by Anuj Kumar, Assistant Professor, International Business, ASM. It was an interactive session where Ms Richa Mehta, Founder and Director, LuxuryDot.PR and Mr Anuj Bhasin, Director, Sales, ESPN, shared insights with the first and second-year students.

During the session, students asked Mr Bhasin a lot of questions related to his experience. He talked about how to handle queries, make sales funnel, handle media marketing, advertising solutions revenue, and collaborations with cross-functional teams. The latter also recalled the time he was a student of ASM. He also went on to discuss business value creation through brand, content, and technology.

While discussing her entrepreneurial journey, Ms Mehta, on the other hand, pinpointed the hardships that she had to overcome. She also engaged the attendees in a game related to management. The PR expert has endorsed over 300 brands till now. 

The seminar was a great learning experience for all students. Said Leena Raheja, a second-year PGDM student, “The seminar gave us two perspectives—a young talented entrepreneur as well as from an experienced veteran who has worked in purpose-driven organisations. They shared their experiences and journey about how they overcome challenges and the importance of risk-taking.”
