Apeejay Svran Global School recently organised the much-awaited Winter Fest 2024, bringing together students, teachers, and families in a vibrant celebration of the winter season. The festivities began with a warm green welcome for the esteemed Chief Guests, including Mr Pankaj Srivastav, Vice-president, President Prem Pasricha Rotary Blood Bank Charitable Trust, Rotarian Rajesh Arora, Zonal Chair for Blood Donation RID 3011, Rotarian Dr Deepak Prashad, Thalassemia Chair for Rotary District 3011, and Treasurer of the Rotary Blood Bank Charitable Trust Faridabad, and Rotarian Rashmee Mahajan, Chair for Blood Donation for the Rotary Club of Faridabad Aravalli. Special Guests Mr Sanjeev Shukla, President of RWA, and Mr Jai Prakash Mavi, General Secretary of RWA, also graced the occasion.

Ms Priti Wason, Principal, Apeejay Svran Global School addressed the gathering, emphasising the significance of the festival as an occasion to embrace the magic of the season and foster camaraderie among students, teachers, and families. Her heartfelt words set the tone for a memorable day ahead.

The event commenced with a soulful rendition of Christmas carols by the students, which filled the air with joy and festive spirit. The entire campus was transformed into a bustling carnival, featuring an eclectic mix of stalls. From mouthwatering food options to winter wear, ornaments, handmade crafts, cosmetics, and handlooms, the stalls catered to every taste and interest. The game stalls, set up by students, were a major attraction, engaging participants of all ages in fun-filled activities.

One of the event’s highlights was the melodious band performance by The Loverzz, which captivated the audience with its soulful tunes. Additionally, the ethereal performance by ISKCON devotees added a spiritual charm to the event, leaving guests mesmerised. The lively DJ session became the epicentre of energy, as attendees danced their hearts out, creating an atmosphere of pure exhilaration. 

Competitions added a competitive edge to the fest, allowing individuals to showcase their talents. Dance, drawing, and ramp walk contests drew enthusiastic participation, highlighting the diverse skills and creativity of the school community. The participants’ efforts were met with resounding applause and appreciation from the audience.
