‘Whispers of the wild’: Poem by Namnika Vipin, Apeejay School, Nerul

I tread a narrow path, surrounded by willow trees,
Their leaves whispering secrets.
The air carries the sweet scent of honeysuckles
And I hum as I pass a hive of bumblebees.
Orchid creepers embrace mighty trees,
Birds soar, unburdened and free
Their wings slicing through the sky.
Hidden lakes mirror majestic swans
Their grace reflected in tranquil waters.
Wild eyes peer from shadowed depths
A camouflaged canopy veils the scene
Nature’s magic woven into every leaf.
This hidden side holds wondrous secrets
Where melodious voices sing, unheard by most.
