The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, recently organised a vibrant and impactful street play under Project Rakt Daan, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of blood donation. The initiative was taken to educate the public, dispel misconceptions, and encourage active participation in this life-saving cause.
The street play was staged at several prominent locations, including housing societies, Malviya Nagar Market, and outside Aurobindo College. Through engaging performances, the students creatively conveyed the message that donating blood is a simple, safe, and noble act that can save countless lives. The play highlighted the urgent need for blood donors while addressing common myths and fears associated with blood donation, such as concerns about safety, eligibility, and health risks.


The performance successfully captured the attention of passers-by and residents, sparking conversations and increasing awareness about the campaign. Volunteers from the school guided interested individuals, answering queries and clarifying doubts on the spot. The initiative generated enthusiasm, with many members of the public registering immediately for the upcoming Blood Donation Camp scheduled for October 4, 2025.
The campaign was widely appreciated for its innovative approach, combining education, creativity, and social responsibility. It not only encouraged participation but also inspired a sense of community service among both students and the audience. The Interact Club demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and a strong commitment to social causes, reflecting the school’s emphasis on holistic development and civic engagement.
