Since when did your artistic journey begin?

Drawing has always captivated me. I have felt an interest towards it for a long time. However, I have been actively involved in drawing only since the past two years.

That is nice to hear! So which art form do you love the most?

I enjoy sketching the most, it’s simply my favourite. One can create beautiful images with just a few simple shading techniques. I make the most of this passion

And you sketch really well too! Does your school encourage you as an artist?

Yes, 100%! The art teacher in the school has always encouraged me to draw and experiment with new artworks. She always tells me to keep trying new forms of art. I would also like to thank the Apeejay Newsroom as well. Through their website I can show my artwork to all. It is a great motivation.

Every artist has their understanding of art. What is yours?

With art we can create new things. It is newness, it is life wrapped in colours.

How much time does it take you to complete an artwork? What are the common ideas and themes?

Well, it usually takes me about 2-3 hours to make one sketch. I love to sketch animals, landscapes and flowers. These are my treasured themes. I love working on them.

Any upcoming artworks?

I am planning to draw some sketches of human figures. Let’s see how it goes.

A new art form you wish to learn?

I wish to learn watercolor painting next.

And finally, tell us about your life beyond the drawing book?

Apart from art, I love to dance to bollywood songs. I also love to play football. These two are my favourite activities and I just enjoy them so much.
