Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great devotion, enthusiasm and spiritual fervour. The celebration brought the school community together to welcome Lord Ganesha, revered as the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of wisdom, prosperity and new beginnings.

The festivities commenced with the ceremonial arrival of a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha. The school campus soon resonated with the rhythmic beats of music and melodious devotional songs, as students presented vibrant dance performances. Their enthusiasm and heartfelt participation added colour and energy to the celebrations, creating a joyous festive atmosphere across the campus.

The school community then came together for traditional rituals and prayers. Mr Sanjeev Mishra performed the sacred rituals with devotion, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for the well-being, happiness and success of the entire school family. The rituals also gave students an opportunity to understand the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival and appreciate India’s rich heritage and traditions.

Addressing the gathering, the school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, extended a warm welcome to Bappa and shared a message of positivity and goodwill. He emphasised that festivals are not only occasions for celebration but also opportunities to imbibe meaningful values in everyday life. He encouraged students to seek wisdom, remain humble, face challenges with courage, and spread kindness and harmony wherever they go.

“Ganesh Chaturthi reminds us that wisdom, humility and perseverance are the true strengths that help us overcome obstacles. It was heartening to see our students participate so enthusiastically in welcoming Bappa and celebrating our rich cultural heritage. May Lord Ganesha bless our school family with knowledge, happiness, harmony and success. Let us carry forward the spirit of kindness, unity and positivity in all that we do,” Dr Vasishtha said.

The celebrations concluded with the distribution of prasad, symbolising blessings, gratitude and togetherness. Students participated with immense excitement while maintaining discipline and respect throughout the programme.

Beyond the festivities, the celebration served as a meaningful learning experience for the students. Through music, dance, prayers and traditional rituals, they connected with Indian culture while reflecting on values such as devotion, humility, perseverance, unity and compassion.

The occasion concluded on a joyous and spiritually uplifting note, leaving the school community with a renewed sense of positivity and gratitude. The campus echoed with the spirited chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya, making the celebration a memorable one for everyone.
