Meet the shining stars of Apeejay School, Rama MandiMaanvik Mittal and Namta Sehgal — the two remarkable toppers whose achievements reflect their unwavering hard work, dedication, and sincerity. With a score of 92.9% and 92.6%, respectively, their academic excellence is a testament to the countless hours of focused study, disciplined routines, and consistent efforts throughout the year.

Upon asking about their preparation strategy, Maanvik shared, “My preparation strategy for studies is pretty common. I have tried my best to understand everything since the beginning. It’s like I don’t wait to go home and re-read to understand, I try to finish all my doubts in school only. I try to take less to less pressure even if the deadline comes closer, because the more I panic, the more I miss important things. But somehow my best results have always been during the times I have the most pressure on me, and it really is good to be honest.”

While Namta expressed, “A well-planned timetable, consistent hard work, and regular revisions formed the foundation of my preparation. I maintained a proper diet to stay active and healthy, ensuring both physical and mental well-being. To relax my mind and body, I included daily exercise in their routine, which helped them stay focused and balanced.”

Both have now been promoted to the most crucial year of Class X, which is the stepping stone towards choosing the correct career path ahead, and they are indeed overwhelmed.

“The two options right now are medical and non-medical, and I’ve even thought that I might study both Biology and Math, including Physics and Chemistry. But I’m not sure of anything yet. The thing I don’t like about choosing streams is that I should at least know everything about my future if I choose a particular stream,” shared Maanvik.

On the other hand, Namta is assured that she will pick non-medical as she takes keen interest in Physics, Chemistry, and Math.

Moving on, let’s talk about the challenges each encountered during the exam time. “One of the most difficult challenges that everyone around my age faced was the retreating days of the pandemic. The two-year pause, even though handled well by teachers through online activities, caused a lot of problems in academic lives. My parents of course, created the best of me by always supporting me, even in the times where I was struggling to comprehend a single topic of subjects like maths and science they encouraged me and told me how I shouldn’t worry and this is helping me overcome even during present times,” explained Maanvik.

Similarly, Namta shared that, “Since the entire syllabus is covered in the Class IX final exams, I had to extend my study hours, often staying up late at night. To manage the pressure, I sought guidance from my teachers. They offered helpful tips to manage stress and maintain a healthy study-life balance.”

Just like all’s well that ends well, both these kids have sorted out their plans too. With Maanvik looking forward to doing the best in his ability to be true forever, Namta is eyeing to score more than 95% in her Class X Board exams.
