UPSC releases schedule for Civil Services Interview Rounds 2023

On December 19, 2023, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) unveiled the schedule for the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Civil Services (Main) Exam, 2023.

As per the official schedule, the UPSC interview rounds are set to commence on January 2, 2024 and conclude on February 16, 2024. The forenoon session requires candidates to report by 9 am, while the afternoon session has a reporting time of 1 pm. At present, the schedule has been released for 1,026 candidates, with the Personality Test (Interview) schedule for the remaining candidates to be uploaded later. The schedule is available on the official UPSC website—upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC emphasised that the e-Summon Letters for the Personality Tests (Interviews) of these 1,026 candidates will be accessible shortly and can be downloaded from the Commission’s Website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in. In addition, the UPSC stated in an official notice that no requests for changes in the date and time of the Personality Test (Interview) will ordinarily be entertained.

For candidates who failed to submit the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) within the specified date and time, their candidature will be cancelled, and no e-summon letter will be issued.

The UPSC Civil Services Main result was declared on December 8, 2023. The UPSC Civil Services Main exam took place from September 15-24, 2024.
