What an exhilarating day it was at Apeejay School, Model Town! The much-awaited Annual Sports Day for Classes I to VIII began with a grand opening ceremony, where vibrant balloons soared into the sky, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship and determination. The electrifying energy of the audience set the perfect tone for the event!
An Inspiring Opening
The Officiating Principal, Ms. Priyanka Grover, formally declared the event open, followed by a Torch March led by Class VIII students Divas and Avni. Their march was a powerful representation of unity, strength, and the essence of sports—not just about winning, but about pushing one’s limits and embracing freedom.
Showcasing Strength & Discipline
The event featured an impressive yoga display, where young students performed graceful poses, emphasizing balance, flexibility, and mindfulness. The Karate demonstration was another highlight, as our young martial artists delivered swift kicks, powerful moves, and disciplined stances, leaving the audience in awe of their skill and determination.
Thrilling Races & Victorious Moments
The sports field came alive with a series of exciting races, with students from classes I, II, and III, displaying agility, speed, and competitive spirit. As the day progressed, classes IV to VIII joined in, adding to the thrill. The top performers were honored with medals and accolades, celebrating their perseverance and hard work.
A Memorable Conclusion
As the sun set on a spectacular day,the Principal shared her inspiring words, reinforcing the values of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. The Principal also acknowledged the efforts of the Sports Teacher Mr. Anmol Sharma for his incredible efforts in organizing the event. The celebrations wrapped up with refreshments and camaraderie, making it a day to remember!
