UGC NET 2023: Provisional answer key released; candidates can raise objections till Jul 08

On July 6, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the release of the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission (UGC) – National Eligibility Test (NET) examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access the provisional answer key on the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Applicants have the opportunity to raise objections against the provided answer keys until July 8, 11:50 pm. It is important to note that the NTA requires the submission of a processing fee for any challenges to be considered.

How to raise objections?

Step 1: Visit the official website — ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’

Step 3: Login with your application number and date of birth, along with the security pin.

Step 4: Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses and to view or challenge the answer keys, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”.

Step 5: After that, raise and save your claim of the correct option of the respective question.

Step 6: Pay the objection fee and submit your query.

This year, the said examination took place in two phases. The first phase was held from June 13 to 17. The second phase of the exam was held from June 19 to 22. The admit card for the phase 1 exam was released on June 10. For the phase 2 exam, the admit card was released on June 16.
