UGC set to launch user-friendly website, two portals on May 16

In line with the New National Education Policy 2020, the University Grants Commission (UGC) is gearing up to unveil a new website and two portals on May 16. This initiative aims to facilitate higher education institutions in providing quality education and nurturing a skilled and innovative young generation.

Recently, UGC Chairman, Jagadesh Kumar, emphasised the commission’s commitment to supporting universities and colleges in their journey towards transforming higher education into a world-class learning experience. The upcoming launch, therefore, includes a user-friendly website and two distinct portals: the ‘UTSAH’ portal and the Professor of Practice Portal.

“UGC has redesigned the website to make it more user-friendly, informative, and dynamic. All information is categorised as per the type of stakeholders, such as students, faculty, and Universities. It helps to ease in getting information,” Kumar told a news source.
