‘Tick Tock!’: Poem by Saurabh and Girisha, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park

Way to hell?
Okay! I’m a traveler, but I don’t think it’s time to explore,
I don’t know,

Where am I?
The clock strikes midnight on the wall.
I hear a creaking sound
The scary night tells the tales of incidents,
Let’s see what happens, if I enter this haunted looking,
Abandoned palace!
A shadow moves across the floor.
The night is full of fear.
The spookiness tells the near life death experience,
I don’t know what can happen to me, but the fire, which is
Inside me goes like a dragon,
The dark matter is coming closer to me, but I can’t catch the speed via time.
I hear a scratching on the window,
A voice that whispers in my ear.

Tick tock! Tick tock!

The eyes are red, the time is paused, and it goes like an eagle.
It’s closer to me, it goes like tick tock, tick tock, tick tock!
I’m not afraid of the dark, but time is getting submerged,
Getting out of it is getting out of the whole dark matter!

The candle flickers in the breeze,
I smell a rotten stench of death,
A laugh that makes me beg and plead
The flying clothes make me even more scared.

Where is the end?

Right or left, backward or forward, Oh no!
Another worse escape is just not meant for me!
What! It’s blood, from where did it come?
The horrific voice is making it worse!
I’m trapped, no way to escape!
