A parent praises Apeejay Svran Global School’s excellent teachers in Sector 21 D for simplifying learning for students
For some parents choosing the right school is not a chore since their other child is already in that school and they are well-versed in how good the school is, the teachers, staff and even the principal. Therefore, when it was time for parents like Anjali and her husband Vishal Thamman to choose a school for their younger daughter, Harshika, now in class III at Apeejay Svran Global, Sector 21 D, they chose this school as their elder daughter Kashvi is already studying in class X here.
In a candid interview, the mother shares how everyone – from the staff to the teachers to the Principal – is always there to lend a hand.
What were some of the factors that tipped the balance in favour of Apeejay?
The decision was influenced by the fact that her elder sister was already studying in that school and we are satisfied with everything that this school has to offer. When it was time for Harshika to go to a formal school, we automatically chose Svran Global.
What stood out about the school when choosing it for the elder daughter?
The school was known for good studies, taking good care of students, and the teachers being attentive in activities.
How does the school help in nurturing emotional or cognitive skills?
The school is effective in explaining things clearly to students, and the teachers are involved in ensuring students understand and participate in activities. The teachers are always attentive and are there to help in case of any issue related to academics.
What are some activities that your daughters are involved in?
There are several activities but my daughters are interested in lawn tennis. At present, Kashvi is concentrating on her class X Board. Harshika learns dancing during the period in the school.
How is the interaction with the school staff, like the principal and the teachers?
The interaction is good; the staff talks well with the parents and addresses any concerns with the children effectively. I would say that the present principal is amazing and is there to address our concerns at all times. The parent-teacher communication is great, facilitated through regular parent-teacher meetings.
How does the school involve parents in the learning of their children?
To be honest, Kashvi studies on her own but if she gets stuck somewhere she comes to us for guidance. As for Harshika, the school involves parents by assigning activities that parents can help the kids.
Would you recommend the school to other parents? What stands out about the school?
Yes, I would recommend this school to other parents. Everything here is good – the infrastructure, the safety of the students, and the teachers are great! What stands out is the relationship between teachers and parents and the teacher’s dedication to student learning.
