Grandparents hold our hearts forever. They are a strong pillar in every family, sharing valuable life lessons and tradition with their grandkids. To honour their unconditional love, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri recently celebrated Grandparents Day.

On this special occasion, grandparents of students of classes nursery to 1 were invited to the school premises wherein children showed their abundance respect and admiration for the golden agers.

The event began with seeking the blessings of the God. Little ones warmly welcomed the guests with an enthralling performance that left them spellbound and thoroughly mesmerised.

Gearing up the enthusisam, the school organised some fun activities and games for the grandparents. They enthusiastically participated in all the activities including grandmothers walking the ramp.

During the fun activities, all the grandparents were very sportive and brought out the child in them through their active participation. Children were very excited to see their grandparents participate in these games.

The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them. It was a memorable day for all which they will cherish for lifetime.

Towards the end of the programme, Rudrendra Basak, Principal of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri extended a heartfelt thanks to the grandparents for their graceful presence. He said, “Lucky are the children who receive the care and love of their grandparents. They help in maintaining emotional balance in their grandchildren.”

It was a heart-warming day with teachers, students along with grandparents coming together to celebrate the little joys of life and love. The event concluded with singing of the national anthem.
