School often serves as a second home for children for several reasons, providing a supportive and nurturing environment that complements the care and learning they receive at home. This school provides a safe space where children are protected and cared for, much like at home and teachers here offer exceptional guidance, support, and encouragement,” shares Anita Saini whose daughter Pratishtha studies in class V at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Why did you select Apeejay as an admission choice for your daughter?
My elder son is also studying in the same school in XI standard. So far, I have observed how my son’s basic knowledge got developed at this school and I am completely satisfied as a parent. So when it was time for my daughter to go to school, Apeejay was a choice straight away.

How has your daughter’s journey been at school so far?
I am happy to share that my daughter has learned how to do self-study at such a young age and not depend on her parents so much. My daughter is now 10 years old and she can grasp concepts much better at school. There is a marked improvement in her growth so far because of this school.
How are the teachers here?
The teachers have always given us transparent and honest feedback about my child during PTMs. They always share the shortcomings of the child with us so that we can work together for that in tandem.
What kind of extracurricular activities does your child enjoy?
She actively participates in Hindi and English creative writing, poem recitation, Olympiads, and speaking on a certain topic for some time (extempore). There are also dance and singing events held from time to time at school where she enjoys.
Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
I believe that a good school always makes for brilliant students. There are positive lessons that a child learns at home, then it becomes imperative that the school should add value to those lessons and the personality. Since I am also a teacher, I have seen how beautifully my child is being developed here.
Do you discuss career goals with your children?
My son, Arihant, is clear about his career path now. He wants to get into IIT so he has picked the Science stream in his XI now. My daughter is still too young to decide something on these grounds.
