Sankalp Sachdev, who recently completed his internship at Sunstone Education and Technology, believes that by providing hands-on experience, internships help in developing industry-specific skills and professional networks. The Apeejay School of Management (ASM) student, who is pursuing an MBA with a specialisation in Operations and Marketing, tells us more about his experience.

Where did you do your internship? How would you describe the experience?

The internship went very well. Their way of dealing with customer demands was quite fascinating. Overall, it was a journey full of learning and worth cherishing.

Why did you choose ASM? What’s your specialisation?

ASM was always on my list of preferred colleges, one of the reasons being that I got a very good review regarding the faculty. Besides, the college has a very good placement track record.

Which profession are you aiming for?

I am aiming for a business analyst role with functional expertise in supply chain management.

What new skills did you learn at Apeejay and how did it shape your personality?

Being part of the management team for various college events taught me a lot about teamwork. The wide variety of extracurricular activities at ASM boosted my confidence and enhanced my overall personality.
