“There is no time like Spring,
When life’s alive in everything”
These are famous lines by celebrated poet Christina Rosetti. And it’s certainly true that there is no time like the season of Spring. It’s that time of the year when the natural world wakes up and revives after going dormant in the winter months. The days start getting longer, flowers begin to bloom, and warmer weather allows everyone to spend more time enjoying the outdoors. To add more, a cool soothing breeze blows all day, and everyone enjoys the fresh air.
Indeed, spring is the king of all seasons. Everything and everyone seems afresh, alive and more beautiful as the world around them blossoms. No matter the industrialisation, nature always finds a way, as one watches the road ahead strewn with flowers and lush green leaves welcoming one ahead. Spring is truly the season of renewal.

And as is the custom at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, the season was welcomed and celebrated with full excitement and fervour by the pre -primary wing of the school.
Primary kids along with their mothers came to the school dressed up in beautiful floral attires. The mother and child duos were full of enthusiasm as they gladly participated in the spring festive celebrations. Colourful floral rangoli were made by the mothers to usher in the season of growth.
Various games such as translating the song, crossword, find the coin and musical chairs were also enjoyed by the children and mothers.

Ms. Deepti Kaushal, the School Coordinator, thanked all the mothers for gracing the occasion with their presence. She also wished that may the season of spring bring in positive changes and joy to everyone’s lives. “Spring is a symbol of new beginnings and symbolises life in all its glory. It is the season of rebirth, joy, love and blossoms. Hence, with the advent of spring, we pray to the almighty to shower his blessings on all of us so that each life blooms alive in a myriad of colours like the flowers of the spring,” she added.
It was a fun filled day that was enjoyed by all, as the dances by mother and child duo filled the environment with much gaiety, frolic and joy. The entire school was dressed in the colours of spring joy.
