A vibrant and engaging recreational programme unfolded on a winter morning at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar. This programme brought together faculty members from various departments to usher in the New Year with enthusiasm and camaraderie.

Organised by the Wellness and Happiness Committee of AIMETC, the day commenced on a serene note with a rejuvenating yoga session led by Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC. The session set a positive tone for the day, promoting wellness and mindfulness among the faculty members.

The programme then transitioned into a series of lively and entertaining activities designed to foster team spirit and friendly competition. Faculty members from the participating departments actively took part in fun games like dumb charade, tug of war, save your balloon, and musical chairs. These activities not only brought out the playful side of the participants but also strengthened the bonds of camaraderie among the academic community.

The highlight of the day was an exhilarating cricket match between the School of Management, captained by Dr. Rajesh Bagga, and the School of IT & Engineering, led by Mr. Rajiv Bhardwaz. The cricket field became a battleground for skills and sportsmanship as both teams competed fiercely. In an epic showdown, the School of Management emerged victorious, securing the coveted tournament title.

The programme concluded on a heartfelt note as Dr. Rajesh Bagga extended warm wishes for the New Year to all faculty members. In his address, he emphasised the importance of unity and goodwill within the Apeejay family, expressing confidence that every member of the institute would continue to work dedicatedly in the upcoming year.

The event proved to be a day to remember, encapsulating the essence of unity, friendship, and the triumphant spirit of Apeejay. The celebrations not only provided a platform for fun and entertainment but also strengthened the sense of community within the institute, fostering a positive and collaborative environment among the faculty members. The Faculty Recreational Programme exemplified the commitment of AIMETC to holistic well-being and a vibrant academic community.
