This Jalandhar-Institute Empowers Students with Career-Oriented Learning and Skill-Based Competitions

A vibrant series of activities, events, and competitions was organised as part of the ongoing Three-Week Career-Oriented Value-Added Courses at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar. This created an engaging platform where students could develop practical skills and gain experiential learning. The initiative was designed to encourage active participation, creativity, communication, leadership, marketing abilities, and managerial thinking among students, helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in a wide range of competitions and interactive activities aimed at enhancing their professional and personal competencies. Through hands-on experiences, students explored their strengths, developed confidence, and gained valuable exposure to practical learning environments.

As part of the value-added courses, students are currently undergoing training in three significant modules—Art of Effective Communication, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Marketing. These carefully designed modules aim to equip learners with essential technological, managerial, and professional skills required to excel in today’s rapidly evolving world. The training sessions focus on strengthening students’ communication abilities, familiarising them with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, and helping them understand modern digital marketing strategies relevant to various industries.

To make the learning process more dynamic and engaging, students enthusiastically competed for several prestigious titles, showcasing their unique talents and abilities. The competitions featured recognitions such as Stage Stalwarts, Brand Architects, Impact Makers, Initiators, Creative Writers, and Wordsmiths. Participants demonstrated exceptional creativity, leadership qualities, communication skills, and innovative thinking during the various contests and activities organised under the programme.

The winners of these competitions received attractive prizes and appreciation for their commendable performances, making the event more motivating and memorable. The recognition encouraged students to continue honing their talents and striving for excellence.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Dr. Rajesh Bagga highlighted the significance of such experiential learning initiatives in students’ academic journeys.
